As children, we all dream big.

We grant dreams to critically and chronically ill children, ages three through eighteen.
The Dream Factory of Idaho was founded in late 2023 and fulfilled its first dream in early 2024. We’re a chapter of the national Dream Factory — the largest all-volunteer wish-granting organization in the country — and we’re proud to bring that mission to the Treasure Valley.

100% Volunteer-Driven

Everything we do is powered by volunteers and sustained by the generosity of local donors, families, and businesses. And because we don’t employ paid staff at the local level, 96% of all funds raised go directly toward fulfilling dreams for children right here in Idaho.

No child forgotten

Our team includes parents, professionals, and everyday Idahoans who believe no child should feel forgotten, especially in the face of complex or critical medical conditions. Some of us have lived this reality personally. Others have seen how a single dream can lift a child’s spirit and create lifelong memories in the middle of a medical crisis.

Dream Factory - Idaho Chapter

Since its founding in 1980 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, the national Dream Factory has granted thousands and thousands of dreams through over 30 chapters across the U.S. Idaho’s chapter is one of the newest — and we’re just getting started.

We’re not just granting dreams. We’re building a culture of compassion, inclusion, and celebration — one child, one dream, and one Idaho community at a time.

Our goal

Our goal is simple but ambitious: to reach every eligible child in the state with a dream that brings light, joy, and connection during hard times. We aim to grow sustainably, strengthen our community partnerships, and expand our reach without ever losing the heart behind our mission.
