Who we are
We’re a 100% volunteer-powered nonprofit bringing real joy to Idaho kids with complex medical conditions. We focus on serving children with serious chronic or life-threatening conditions — including those living with spina bifida or rare diagnoses — who may not qualify for other wish-granting organizations.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple: We grant dreams to critically and chronically ill children aged 3 to 18. Every dream is a powerful form of support, offering emotional relief and joy in the face of medical complexity and uncertainty.
Our long-term goal is to fulfill every dream request we receive in Idaho, as soon as it’s needed— and expand to serve every eligible child across the state.

Since 1980, Dream Factory chapters across the U.S. have made more than 30,000 dreams come true for kids with serious health conditions.

Focused on Idaho families, we keep hope close to home, building connections, belonging, and service within our local communities.
Dreams across the country often include vacations, meeting their heroes, shopping trips, room makeovers, and more- all designed to give accessible experiences, and family support activities designed to bring relief and fun.
